Maison Diptyque London Orpheon
The ephemeral space at Maison Diptyque London
Testament to Diptyque's meaningful ties with the world of art and design since the very beginning, Maison Diptyque London enjoys its own dedicated ephemeral space for inspired and inspiring encounters.
The Orphéon Record Station
From 15 January to 20 April at 107 New Bond Street, London, W1S 1ED
Maison Diptyque London’s ephemeral space has been transformed into a listening station inspired by the Orphéon jazz club, former neighbour of the boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain. Vinyl after vinyl, the club’s atmosphere is recreated.
A space dedicated to discovering jazz
From Thelonious Monk to John Coltrane and Alfa Mist... The free-to-listen turntable and vinyl records available offer an insight into one of the many facets of jazz and reveal the genre’s history as you listen.
Music selection curated by Parisian record store Superfly Records.
An educational and entertaining exploration
Album covers and books about the history of jazz are available, inviting visitors to prolong their experience. Echoing this inviting atmosphere, a few dice and card games also add a playful touch to the space.
Workshops
Personalise a vinyl record
Let an artist guide you through a workshop to personalise and paint an Orphéon vinyl record.
Diptyque & COLORSxSTUDIOS: an exclusive creative encounter
Diptyque partners with COLORSxSTUDIOS around a shared belief in encounters that leave a trace. Through Ezra Collective’s performance, Orphéon moves beyond the bottle, translating scent into rhythm, energy and presence.
An exclusive version of the track “Enter the jungle” to be discovered at the listening station inspired by the Orphéon club at the Maison Paris.
