For over sixty years, Diptyque has been cultivating the art of metamorphosis. The Maison continues its quest for unique objects by reinventing one of its founding materials: wax. Freed from its primary calling, it leaves the flame to take shape as the Medicis Vase.
From Antiquity to the present day
Its silhouette is inspired by an ancient form, born in Antiquity and revived during the Renaissance by the Medicis family, from whom it takes its name. Today, this iconic silhouette is reinterpreted by Diptyque with a contemporary spirit, faithful to the freedom of the Maison.
The art of gesture
Each Medicis Vase is crafted primarily by hand. Poured into custom-made molds and then worked, the wax reveals the purity of its lines, the perfection of its volume and the softness of its texture. Each piece is adorned with a white biscuit porcelain cameo featuring the Maison's emblematic oval.

Available in two timeless shades, the Medicis Vase is reinvented season after season in limited editions. Offered in two sizes, the Medicis Vase can be displayed on its own or as part of a composition.
